Violetta Ehnsperg

Violetta Ehnsperg (born 1991, Graz) lives and works in Vienna. Her practice spans abstract painting, installation, and textiles. Her installation works, often incorporating found objects from her travels and personal artifacts, explore the cultural and aesthetic influences of her origins from Thailand. In her paintings, a strong longing for abundance and vitality becomes apparent. The interplay between body, space, and color is a central aspect of her creative process. Constantly in motion, seeking impulses and inspiration, yet feeling at home wherever she is, Violetta’s practice embodies a dynamic tension—between movement and stillness, exploration and contemplation.

Violetta studied abstract painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She has exhibited her work in various solo and duo shows at Perspektiven Kunstfestival in Attersee (Austria, 2023) and Gallery 3 in Vienna (Austria, 2022).
