It is with great pleasure that we welcome one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary image-making to PARRI BLANK. We look forward to working closely together and embarking on this exciting new chapter.
To mark the beginning of our collaboration, we are proud to present Oddkin. Der Lurlei, Tim Berresheim’s first solo exhibition with the gallery.
Bringing together new paintings and, for the first time in a gallery context, a sculpture, the exhibition marks an important new chapter in Berresheim’s practice. Rooted in mythology while embracing contemporary technologies, this new body of work explores questions of perception, kinship and image-making through a unique dialogue between painting, sculpture and digital processes.
Over the past two decades, Berresheim has established an exceptional artistic practice that brings together art history, technology, science and nature. His works are held in major public collections, including The Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, among others.
